Words are less when it comes to PM Modi. He has created history by changing the face of politics in India. He was elected as the Prime Minister of our country in 2014 and since then, he has been doing whatever he can to make India a better place to live in. Born as the third child (out of six) to Damodardas Mulchand (father) and Heeraben Modi (mother), Narendra Damodardas Modi is the 14th Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy, India. He is considered one of the most successful self-made leaders in the world as he belongs to an oil-pressing community who is considered as the Other Backward Community in India and has no political background in his family. He’s a very influential leader and has been showing a crazy dedication towards our country. Many people don’t know , but PM Modi’s journey is nothing less than rags to riches.

1. Modi’s love for his country started young. During Indo-Pak war of 1965, Modi, as a 15 year old boy, volunteered to serve the soldiers in transit at the railway stations. Similarly, in 1967 at an age of 17 years, he served the flood affected people of Gujarat.
2. As a child Narendra Modi dreamt to serve in the Indian Army. He wanted to study in Sainik school located nearby Jamnagar but couldn’t join because there was no money to pay the fees at home.
3. The PM is just in love with photography. It’s his passion and if you don’t know, let us tell you that he had even held an exhibition wherein he showcased the pics.
4. He is a prolific writer and poet too. He writes in Gujarati language and his favourite topics include life and teachings of Hindutva icons. He used to act in plays when he was young. He is a big fan of Swami Vivekananda. Most of the people don’t know that he also wrote a book on climate change, named, ‘Convenient Actions’.
